“Beautiful Illustrations and Captivating Rhyme”

Reviewed by: Stephanie Rollins, Parish Rollins (age 5), and Isaac Rollins (age 3) for ReviewYourBook.com 2/2009

Remember Goodnight Moon? This is the same author. Once again, she penned a hit. The captivating rhyme and repetition held both Parish and Isaac’s attention. They were fascinated by the bold illustrations that have much darker colors than most children’s books. They liked to point out different animals on each page.

Parish decided that she wants to take this book to her grandmother’s house. Her grandmother used to tell her the rhyme about the moon that is used in this book.

Each page gives you a secret glimpse inside the culture of a different country from the child’s point of view. This book is perfect for both boys and girls. Toddlers through elementary school students will enjoy this! This is one to keep in your child’s library.
