Heather, an FBI agent, is convinced that the helicopter accident that killed her sister, a DA, was no accident.  The accident injured her, also, but that does not keep her from continuing the investigation with Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Latham.  Together they decide to heed the last words Heather's sister muttered, "Follow the drugs".

Just where will the drugs lead them?  With all the attempts on Heather's life, will they be able to continue the investigation?

There is a bit of romance sprinkled throughout the book.  This is a Christian book, but I consider it to be mainstream.  It is not preachy at all.

This type of book and writing style is what sparked my interest in reading many years ago.  Reading through the book, I was reminded of Mary Higgins Clark; the book is that great!
