Mae is single.  She is well on her way to becoming a spinster.  True, she has dated her boyfriend for 6 years, but he still has not proposed.  This has the entire town speculating if she really will ever marry.

Mae tends to take care of people.  From her disabled brother to her elderly neighbor, she is responsible for a lot.  While caring for her neighbor, she comes across an address.  Maybe it is a relative who could help out with her care.

That leads Tom to Mae.  He keeps his distance, since she is engaged to be engaged; however, it does not take long for him to fall in love with her.  Will her boyfriend propose before it is too late?

There too many antics and dramatics throughout this book than I can describe is this review.  It would ruin the surprise!  This is a book that left me wanting more.  I would love for there to be a sequel!
