I was disappointed with Mean Thirteen, but I feel Janet Evanovich is back on a roll with Fearless Fourteen. I am a Stephanie Plum fan. Frankly, I like all of the Plum books. She comes across smarter in this book; her character is maturing.

The supporting characters make this book. Zook is wonderful. I loved Morelli’s inner action with him. Morelli is maturing, also. Could there be wedding bells in the future for Morelli and Stephanie? What about her feelings for Ranger? Then there is Bob. I love Bob.

Lula never disappoints. I kept waiting for her to be held captive and Tank to come to her rescue. Grandma is hilarious; I wish her part had been bigger. Brenda was boring accept when she had animal slime in her hair. My husband thinks I am nuts. I was reading Fearless Fourteen, and I kept laughing out loud. This is an excellent read.
