I am not a fan of poetry, but I have read and recommended all of Jalal Ghavami’s books. This latest work is different than his others. Ghavami writes with great depth, tremendous insight, and a slanted view. Ghavami has grown in his writing. His writing has become much more obscure, personal. His passion for the urban life in Brick City is reoccurring thread throughout all of his poems. I recommend that you read all of his works in order. See how his writing has evolved. |
